Kristin Walton
Office Supervisor
What I Do
I am one of the Learning and Teaching Hub’s support administrators. I fill many administrative roles for the Hub and my roles can range from ordering office supplies to human resources to helping plan an LTH event. I am here to assist the LTH team and happy to help and take on whatever is needed.
What I Did
Prior to joining the ASU family, I spent almost a decade working for the largest local vending company in Arizona. The company provided traditional Vending Services along with Coffee and Pantry Services to small and large businesses across the state. I was its Office Manager for seven years before I ended my career there as its Office Coffee Supervisor. In 2017 it was purchased by a national company. A few years after the merger I joined the ASU family.
Prior to joining the Hub, I was the Coordinator, Senior of Operations at the School of Human Evolution and Social Change (SHESC). I managed the front office, was responsible for all SHESC buildings’ maintenance and facilities requests, and was part of its Event Team.
What I Studied
I received my BS in Business at a small international business university.
What I Like
I love watching football with my family. Our favorite teams are the Broncos, Cardinals, and the Oklahoma Sooners… Oh yeah and the ASU Sundevils! I love being a mom and I am very involved in my three children’s activities. I love a good Will Ferrell comedy and music from the 90’s. I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, and recently achieved my goal to hike the Grand Canyon from Rim to Rim. Next up, is backpacking the Trans-Catalina Trail!
Favorite FSE Value
Cultivate excellence! Building a culture of excellence means I am aiming for excellence for my department, my directors, and my co-workers. I want to create and achieve meaningful relationships and projects all while breaking records and inspiring my department so we can take on the world within the Learning and Teaching Hub.
