What is Slack?

Slack is the equivalent of ASU’s digital campus — a collaboration hub that enables real-time communications and connections in a searchable platform for real-time messaging, content sharing, learning, and more.

Why should I use Slack?

Slack makes it easy to communicate with others via both dedicated channels and direct messaging. You can make a quick phone or video chat with others with a few clicks of your mouse. Other features that make Slack a unique learning tool is that you can do the following:

• Screenshare: The Slack screen-sharing feature makes sharing your screen with others quick and easy. 
• Attach files quickly and easily: No need for email attachments – share your files through Slack’s file integration with a simple drag and drop. 
• App Integrations: Slack integrates with a number of apps you’re already using.
