This session will explore how engineering instructors manage grading at scale. We’ll start with a brief review of key strategies, including iClicker/polling and rubrics, to highlight efficient grading techniques. Then, leveraging the expertise across FSE departments, we’ll discuss the criteria and needs of our community to ensure effective assessment at scale. In preparation for this meeting, consider: “What is the assignment you give (or would like to give) that is hardest to grade at scale? What factors contribute to that difficulty?”
