The inaugural Future of Learning Community (FOLC) Fest at Arizona State University was a two-day event attended by over 1,000 faculty, staff, and students. The community gathered to explore how ASU can fulfill its Charter commitment to making education accessible to all students and learners, while also remaining at the forefront of technological and academic excellence.
At FOLC Fest, the Fulton Schools of Engineering (FSE) showcased their contributions through faculty and staff presentations, including several poster sessions on improving student success and demonstration sessions highlighting the crossroads of technology and teaching.
Among the presenters were members of the FSE Learning and Teaching Hub, including Nicholas Lindquist, a multimedia developer. Lindquist collaborated with Joy Griffin, an assistant teaching professor in the Polytechnic School, to create various video assets that enabled Griffin to flip her classroom.
