DIRECTOR, DIGITAL LEARNING INITIATIVES

What I Do

I’m the Director for Digital Learning Initiatives in the Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University. In this role, I collaborate closely with departments and faculty on student success initiatives across the diverse modalities and disciplines in FSE. My recent projects focused on collaborating on program and courseware development, integration of XR/VR, designing MOOCs in a foreign language/for industry partners, and spearheading innovative digital educational experiences for broad audiences.

What I Did

Before joining ASU, I worked as the Assistant Director in the Office of Instructional Consulting in the School of Education at Indiana University and previously taught middle and high school German.

What I Studied

I hold a PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, Bloomington. My research interests include Faculty Development, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, and Innovative Teaching & Learning in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. I also received an M.A. in Foreign Literature & Pedagogy from the University of Delaware which allowed me to teach in the K12 classroom. Before that, I completed my B.S. in Computer Information Systems at Goldey Beacom College in Delaware.

What I Like

When I’m not designing creative and innovative solutions, you can find me playing soccer, running, or biking. I like to be outdoors!
