 culty members from the School of Life Sciences. They will share their ex
 periences with assessment strategies that include frequent formative fee
 dback\, alternative projects\, balancing effective/efficient grading\, a
 nd other design considerations. \n\nWe know it is a busy time of year a
 nd we are thankful for this opportunity to hear from the rest of the ASU
  faculty community!\n\n\n\nScalable Classroom Assessments in Large Enrol
 lments (SCALE)\n\nLead by Jon Baek and Ryan Meuth\n\nHow do you know how
  your students are doing?  What if you have 200 students? 1000? Grading
  assignments\, exams\, and projects for many students can be extremely c
 hallenging.  This community of practice is for anyone interested in exp
 loring administering formative and summative assessments in large classe
 s.  We’ll discuss challenges and share strategies to increase academi
 c integrity\, analyze designs of assessments for efficient evaluation\, 
 implement peer evaluation best practices\, and utilize technology system
 s that can support high quality assessments while maximizing efficient g
 rading. We’ll meet a couple of times per semester\, online or in-perso
 n (Tempe) for all that would like to attend.
