 , at the cost of original thought\, human relationships\, and physical e
 xperience.\n\nThe book offers a compelling entry point into Principled I
 nnovation\, which pairs technical excellence with ethical foresight\, hu
 man-centered design\, and moral accountability. The Machine Stops shows 
 what can happen when these elements are absent\, making it a timely and 
 thought-provoking read for the spring semester.\n\nThe book club meets e
