Generative AI in Teaching and Learning — Community of Practice
Meeting #3: Community Showcase: What Are We Building, Trying, and Learning?
Led by Nadia Kellam, Sue Huffman and Jon Baek
Thursday, November 19 | 3:00 – 4:00 PM

This month, we’re turning the spotlight toward the experiments happening within our own community.
We’ll hear a series of short, informal demonstrations from colleagues who have been exploring different uses of generative AI—from custom builds and simulations to creative approaches for working with qualitative content. Just as important as seeing what they built, we’ll hear about the thinking behind it: What problem were they trying to solve? What worked? What surprised them? What are they still figuring out?
This isn’t a showcase of polished final products. It’s an opportunity to make experimentation visible, learn from one another, ask questions, and leave with ideas you might adapt to your own teaching or work.
We’d love additional contributors. If you have an AI tool, classroom activity, workflow, custom build, simulation, or experiment you’d be willing to share briefly, please email Sue Huffman at [email protected]. Successful experiments, works in progress, and things that didn’t work as expected are all useful to learn from.
