What changes when we move from asking AI for answers to designing how we want AI to behave?

In this hands-on session, we’ll explore CreateAI Builder, an ASU tool that allows you to create your own AI-powered experiences. After a quick tour, participants will build and experiment with a simple chatbot of their own — testing how context, instructions, examples, and feedback shape what it does.

Along the way, we’ll think about AI as a collaborator we can intentionally design and refine with. No previous experience with CreateAI is needed; the goal is to experiment, see what happens, and consider where this kind of building might fit into teaching, learning, or other parts of your work.
